Zari Hassan and Shakib Lutaaya’s Love on the Rocks

The love story between Zari Hassan, also known as The Boss Lady, and her husband Shakib Lutaaya seems to have hit a rough patch, leading to them unfollowing each other on Instagram.

The turmoil comes after a misunderstanding involving Diamond Platnumz, Zari’s ex and the father of her two children. Diamond attended their daughter’s birthday party in South Africa, a celebration that Shakib neither knew about nor attended.

Zari clarified that there’s nothing between her and Diamond except co-parenting their kids. She even gave Shakib a warning, implying that if he continues his behavior, she might leave him.

“I was as surprised to see Diamond at my house as Shakib was,” Zari explained, noting that Diamond had shown up unannounced to surprise their daughter. She stressed that if she wanted to get back with Diamond, it would be easy, but there’s absolutely nothing between them anymore.

“Let me tell you something,” Zari said. “If I wanted to get back with Diamond, I could do it. And if Diamond wanted me back, he could do it too. But we’re over that; I don’t want him, and he doesn’t want me. I have my man, and he has his girlfriend.”

Zari emphasized that her relationship with Diamond is purely about raising their children, expressing concern over Shakib’s apparent lack of self-confidence.

“My husband has no self-confidence, and that’s causing issues,” she said. “I have to keep explaining myself, saying ‘I wasn’t doing this’ or ‘it’s not what it seems.’ I have to call him live just to prove the truth.”

“I, Zari The Boss Lady, am a wealthy, intelligent woman. I could be with anyone I want, but I chose my husband. I don’t care if you see him as poor or unattractive. I chose him, but he’s putting me through this? You need to change and remember.”

Zari concluded that if Shakib doesn’t change, she might have to leave him for someone who won’t put her through constant scrutiny.

“If he can’t appreciate who I am… it’s a shame. I will find someone else who values me. I love him, and when I love, everyone knows it. I’m loyal. If you’re not going to value that, then that’s how it is.”

It appears that the rift between them has only deepened, as they no longer follow each other on Instagram.
